PROFESSIONAL BIO
My name is Jarius Page, and I am from Raleigh, North Carolina. I graduated from Needham B. Broughton High School, attended Saint Augustine’s University, and pursued a degree in Business Administration. While undergrad, I interned with the North Carolina General Assembly for the House of Representatives. I interned with Democracy NC and Organizing for Action. Both organizations are non-profit, non-partisan grassroots organizations. While in college, I was an RA (Residential Assistant) for three years and a campus leader.
As a campus leader, I served as a counselor for the Summer Bridge Program, which is a program to help high school students matriculate into college. I also served as a counselor for the George Williams Leadership Academy, which is an organization focused on the development of young high school men. In 2014 I served as an advocate for Saint Augustine’s University to collaborate with Wake County Public Schools to initiate an early college program on campus. In 2015, I started a radio show called Walking in Victory on WAUG AM 750, which was a syndicated radio show. Before graduating from college, I was offered to work as an admissions counselor and a representative for the university.
As an admissions counselor, I had the opportunity to travel across the country and allow students to pursue higher education. After graduating from college, I was elected to a public chair to serve as the Secretary for the CAC (Citizen Advisory Council) in Southeast Raleigh. I was also selected to serve as the Vice President of the Young Alumni Council. As I continued my career in higher education, I worked as a program coordinator for the TRIO program Educational Talent Search in Rocky Mount, NC. Then continued in enrollment management and became the Assistant Director of Admissions for Livingstone College. After working in admissions, I decided to take a new avenue and pursue a position in Financial Aid as a Counselor for Johnson C. Smith University.
In 2017 I launched my own company JP Enterprise USA, LLC, located in Raleigh NC. JP Enterprise is a company comprised of multiple companies. In 2019 I launched a fragrance and fashion brand called PRESTIGE. In 2021 I launched a News/Media company called The Black Insider. Currently, I’m working on growing my company and focusing on changing people's lives.
