Oftentimes we experience a downfall or a hardship that often leads to depression, stress, anxiety, and shame or guilt. It is very critical that we as believers of Christ understand the importance of not being complacent in this mindset or emotional state.
As times get darker, the devil wants to use our past, mistakes, and failures against us, to keep us from progressing in Christ. He wants us to stay in the mindset of insignificance, low self-esteem, and low self-worth to keep us in sin.
If you think you're insignificant, then you will be insignificant, but if you think you're a conquer then you will be a conquer.
The battlefield of personal spiritual warfare takes place in the mind. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be, (Romans 8:7 KJV). In the case of carnality and flesh, we have to constantly dwell on the Kingdom of God and the promises he has for us.
(2Co_13:11) Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
(Rom 12:2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Our minds and how we think is our identity in Christ. Our minds and thoughts are manifested through our actions. We must know, who we are in Christ in order to effectively operate in the full gifts of the Holy Sprit and our faith in Jesus Christ.
The enemy will play and use our insecurities, our minds, and flesh against us. The enemy knows who you are, your purpose and call for your life. It's up to us to control our thoughts and actions. We must align our thoughts and mindset with God's Word and the will he has for our lives.
We have to continue to renew our minds daily to bring peace to our lives. It Is greatly important to read our Word daily, pray daily, and fast in order to achieve growth in faith.
In this season we must be sure of ourselves, confirm our identity in Christ, without wavering and questioning our faith and the very Power and essence of God.
